About Ba Na Hills Golf Club

Designed by Luke Donald and managed by IMG, Ba Na Hills Golf Club is a world class facility located at the foothills of the famed Ba Na Hills on Vietnam’s central coast, located 25 minutes from downtown Da Nang. Ba Na Hills Golf Club was awarded “Asia’s Best Golf Course” at the World Golf Awards 2018, among many other accolades.

This stunning property is set amongst some of the most impressive mountain ranges in the region. The par 72, 18-hole championship golf course provides a balance of challenge, enjoyment and excitement to golfers of all levels and abilities with 5 sets of tees ensuring a pleasurable round of golf. Ranging from 7857 yards from the professional tees to 6022 yards from the white, friendlier tees, a good variety and mixture of playing lengths makes every hole feel unique.

The front 9 is somewhat more traditional forest/parkland in style, while the back 9 wends its way through twists and turns of the surrounding hillside. The fairways are typically generous, and the bunkering style is impressively bold, with the grass rolled over the faces, leaving the sand partly visible from the tees. The greens are noted for subtle undulations and encourage a variety of approach shots.

Some of the most memorable holes are the 4th and 5th. They are both par 5, but only number 4 is reachable in two. The long number 5 starts off with a carry over water followed by two well struck long irons or hybrids to reach the protected green in regulation. The 10th hole is an easy par 4 that plays upwards to one of the highest points on the golf course. There is an excellent photo opportunity from the green. The par-3 12th goes the opposite way downhill and is also one of the most picturesque places at Ba Na Hills.

The contemporary clubhouse boasts a restaurant with 180-degree panoramic views of the golf course, whilst dining on a selection of local and international delicacies. Another option is The Terrace, an outdoor seated area a short pitch away from the 18th green.

The Ba Na Hills Golf Club PGA Academy offers state of the art technology, there’s a floodlit driving range, USGA standard practice chipping and putting areas, and two state-of-the-art golf instruction studios.

All 18 holes are floodlit, which allow golfers who have a late start to finish their rounds.
