About Bangkok Golf Club

One of the few golf courses located within Bangkok’s suburbs, the Bangkok Golf Club is also one of the most delightful, offering golf on a cleverly designed course with testing fairways and greens. The club was opened in December 1993 and has a relatively short 6812-yard championship layout, which includes such features as an island tee, an island green and a S shaped Par 5 (Hole # 9 was named as one of the best 500 golf holes in the world by Golf Magazine USA in 2000). Bangkok Golf Club is also floodlit for night golf and for golfers who prefer late afternoon tee times.

A good score requires hitting narrow fairways and avoiding the water hazards that front several of the great par 3s. The best of the short holes is the par-3 11th, where the island green requires good confidence to hit a strong tee shot over the water and carry the bunker blocking the front of the green. Equally challenging are the superb greens, which are fast and undulating.

Bangkok Golf Club’s clubhouse is a spacious 3-storey building with a 90-seater restaurant that serves the very best of Thai, Chinese and Western cuisine. The practice facilities include a driving range, putting green and dedicated chipping areas. Also on site is a pro shop, well-appointed locker rooms, and kiosks are located at the 1st, 5th, 10th and 14th tees. 

Bangkok Golf Club is proud to have hosted the Kosiado Thailand Ladies Open on four occasions (1999 - 2002), the Thailand Ladies Amateur Open on five occasions (1998, 2000, 2006, 2009 & 2011), and the Volvo Master of Asia in 2003.
