Jack Nicklaus designed this world-class golf course consisting of 27 holes on 700 acres and each 9-hole course is different depending on its environment and as such, each one is named Mountain Course, Lake Course, and Valley Course. Each offers numerous opportunities to create a sound strategy with good shot values. Nicklaus paid particular attention to the contouring of the fairways and greens, as well as the bunkering of the holes. The golf course also has many lakes and streams providing the extra challenge inherent in all top courses.
The Mountain Course is 3,446 yards in length and plays around many hills. The opening drive requires a squeeze shot through a lush 'canyon' of vegetation. The second hole, a wonderfully water-fronted downhill par 3, is about as good as short holes get.
The Lake Course is 3,419 yards in length with a stream meandering through most of the holes. The Valley Course plays the longest at 3,619 yards in the foothills of the surrounding mountains.
The abundant natural vegetation of the golf course has been further enhanced by lush landscaping and beautiful plants, which make Laem Chabang International Country Club into a stunning and uniquely Asian golfing experience.
The main dining restaurant has a panoramic view of the golf course and offers Japanese and European specialties a la carte at a very reasonable price. The Sawasdee bar is a perfect spot to enjoy pre-dinner cocktails while looking at the sunset over Lake 9. Immaculate locker rooms, a pro shop and driving range add to the experience.
