It’s fitting that the first round tees off at Bangpra Golf Club, one of the oldest golf courses in Thailand. In 1988, the layout and facilities were upgraded to create a challenging golf course, laid out over undulating land in an attractive parkland environment.
The Waterside Course at the Siam Country Club also features gently sloping terrain, with several lakes and creeks making strategic play a must. The final hole is a great finish playing around the large lake in front of the clubhouse.
Laem Chabang International Country Club consists of 27 holes, divided into three courses of nine. Designer Jack Nicklaus made shrewd use of the terrain to create the challenging Mountain Course, Lake Course, and Valley Course. With lush landscaping, Laem Chabang International Country Club provides a uniquely Asian golfing experience.
Equally unique is the beachfront 5-star Mytt Beach Hotel in Pattaya, that is close to numerous attractions. The hotel’s Kitch Restaurant is reputed to serve the best seafood buffet in town, while an outdoor pool, spa centre and fitness centre round off the facilities.
